the deep rounded sides rising to an everted rim, painted to the exterior with shaped cartouches variously enclosing birds and flowers, all reserved on a rich blue ground, the rim with four stylised floral scrolls
Condition
The jardinière with at least six sets of star cracks to the interior, some also faintly visible to the exterior. The exterior with some minor glaze cracks and numerous scratches. There are numerous pinpricks and some fritting, particularly around the rim. The rims with numerous short scratches.
