modelled after a rhinoceros horn cup, the flared sides decorated on one side with mythical beasts, the reverse with deer and crane; together with a white-glazed figure of Guanyin, a celadon and blue-glazed figure group, a pair of crackle-glazed and underglaze-blue baluster vases and a mottle-glazed vase

Provenance

The cup: M&C Sestieri, Rome.

Condition

The figure group with some losses to the extremities, including one hand of the boy. One of the two baluster vases with a repaired rim chip. The mottle-glazed vase with shallow rim chips. All with glaze firing imperfections and surface wear.
