Catalogue Note

The hero, blue-skinned in the guise of Krishna, animatedly dances with his beloved above a plinth in the midst of a thunderous rainstorm. Female musicians play cymbals and a drum. A flock of birds take flight as lightning and rainclouds swirl above. A joyous raga celebrates the rainy season and the breaking of the summer’s heat.
