Description

  • Bronze
the bodhisattva seated in lalitasana on a double lotus throne, with tall headdress and gold-inlaid urna, the right hand extended in varada mudra and the left hand grasping the stem of the lotus attribute, wearing the bodhisattva jewelry, short dhoti and a beaded yajnopativam

J.J. Klejman, acquired 1973, by repute; thence by descent. 

Condition

Gold inlay at urna. Wear and accretion throughout. Scattered small holes/losses (1mm- 1cm) at lotus throne front and back. Traces of vermillion powder at crown.
