the attendant to Palden Lhamo with arms raised to lead the vehicle mount, with the head of a water-monster, stag antlers and the body of a woman, with incised feathered jowls, a skull affixed atop the crown of the head, mouth agape and fangs bared, wearing a flayed human-skin cape, the right arm extended and left hand raised to the chest, with necklaces, armlets, bracelets and anklets inlaid with semi-precious stones

Condition
Traces of polychrome throughout. Figure missing lead in raised right hand. 1cm hole at tip of nose. Flayed corpse cape and hair separately made. With rubbing and accretion throughout and losses to original stone inlay. Left foot reattached.
