Condition
Oil on paper board, extremely minor concave bowing to board from left to right. Surface: In generally good condition; Small tear to paper board, resulting in lifting of the paper and pigment under frame at lower left and frame abrasion to all edges under frame. UNDER UV: Inpainting along all edges (most likely to account for frame abrasion); a few dots of inpaint in the upper left corner; dashes of inpainting in the hat at upper center; two small dots of inpainting on the neck; scattered dots along the left and right side background; several dashes of inpaint below figures hands. Inpainting appears to be applied because the work was somewhat thinly painted. Remainder of work covered in an even varnish, which fluoresces light green.
