Condition
Oil on canvas with a wax relining. The surface is in overall very good condition, notably having retained a fair amount of its impasto. There is some minor paint separation in the thickly painted areas, and some frame rubbing. When examined under UV light, there is one area of in-painting about 1/2 in wide, at the edge of the right-most cliff, near the center of the picture plane. There are some other areas of fluorescence, likely associated with the pigments. The colors are very fresh and strong, and the work presents very well.
