Condition
Pencil on paper. Sheet is hinged top mat by archival tape at top, verso is visible. Recto: Surface in generally good condition, sheet shows signs of faint mat and light stain. There are a few scattered losses visible around the extreme edges of the sheet, not visible in the mat. There appears to be a 1/2 inch repair at the lower right edge. A 1/2 paper fault visible below the figure's proper left elbow at right center. A few scattered fox marks. Top of sheet is perforated, appears taken from artist's notebook. Recto: Mat stain. Paper appears somewhat sheared corresponding with repair mentioned above. Two 1 inch paper stains, possibly from prior adhesive or water at upper and lower center.
