Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a layer of milky varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, however, UV examination reveals a few spots of retouching along the upper edge, some further spots to the flowers above the vase, and a circa 17cm vertical line of retouching, 10 cms away from the centre of the right edge. There are two small spots of retouching below the signature. The canvas is gently undulating in the frame. Some frame rubbing to all four edges with some associated paint loss. Otherwise this work is in fairly good condition.
