Condition

The board is stable. UV examination reveals lines of retouching along the upper edge due to earlier frame rubbing, and a spot to the sky next to the spire. There are some further areas of fluorescence to the blue sky, possibly pertaining to the artist's process. There is a small spot of pigment loss to the upper edge towards the upper left corner. There are some fine lines of craquelure to the lower quarter of the composition. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition.
