Condition

The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a 2cm line of fluorescence to the centre of the lower right quadrant, possibly due to pigment variation. Otherwise there do not appear to be any signs of retouching. There are a few minor paint losses in areas: a small spot to the left part of the lower edge, a few further scattered pin-sized spots of medium loss along the left part of the lower edge and one towards the upper right corner with some associated lines of craquelure. There are some fine lines of craquelure between the leftmost trees and among the branches. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition.
