Condition

There are two elements. There is some minor pitting inherent to the casting process. There is some rubbing to the surface of the polished steel consistent with age and handling. Otherwise this work appears to be in very good original condition.

The present work is the smallest of four versions of this iconic sculpture, L'Etoile. An example of the largest version was installed at the artist’s grave in Locarno, Switzerland.
