Condition
The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals an area of retouching to the lower right edge of the lady's skirt (5.5cm. wide) and a smaller patch to the left of the woman's proper left elbow (3.5cm. wide). There are some further scattered lines and spots of retouching along the left and right edges due to frame rubbing. There is a faint horizontal line visible running towards the centre of the right edge inherent to the weave of the canvas. There are some minor dark spots along the right edge. Overall this work is in good condition.
