Condition
The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a few spots of retouching to the lower left corner and to the upper part of the left and right edges and in the middle of the tree trunks. There are further spots of retouching to the blue pigments in the right half of the composition. There are very fine lines of stable craquelure throughout the composition. There are two lines running down the centre, consistent with stretcher bar marks. Overall this work is in good condition.
