At first glance, the Lange Zeitwerk Striking Time seems to be a wide departure from the iconic Lange 1, however it continues the avant-garde design and mechanics synonymous with the name A. Lange & Sohne. When the A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk was introduced in 2009 it was an instant classic with the combination of impeccable construction, modern design and references to antique horology. Building upon such a well received watch was the Zeitwerk Striking Time which combined the already impressive watch with digital display and a sonnerie complication. Housed in a large 44.2 mm case, the Zeitwerk Striking Time makes a statement every quarter hour with a chime via a hammer on a single gong.
