  • height 80 mm, width 48 mm
• gilt brass movement, platform escapement, bi-metallic balance, repeating on two gongs • silvered guilloché dial, Arabic numerals, diamond-set arrow hands • rectangular case overlaid with opaque aubergine enamel, bezel heightened by white enamel beads, opaque white enamel borders, the side panels and 12 o'clock position applied with diamond-set stars, repeating via a moonstone pusher, surmounted upon a similarly enameled base • dial signed Cartier, movement signed Nocturne, case hand-stamped with Cartier reference numbers

Condition

Movement running at time of cataloging, however not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Chiming not in phase, minute is tinny and very quiet, gong likely needs to be realigned. Case in overall very good condition with light surface scratches. Extremely light wear to the corners. Enamel with no signs of restoration. Dial in fair condition with dirt overall, light scratches and scuffing. Movement with patina and wear. Inside of base, interior of frame, inside of base bottom stamped 1035. Outside of base bottom stamped C2393 and 6652
