reposant sur une base rectangulaire à quatre pieds griffes ciselée d'une double bordure de feuilles, le pied et le col de la saucière ornés d'une frise de palmettes, le corps gravé de deux branches fleuries, l'anse terminée en tête de femme, la saucière et la base gravées d'armoiries, la doublure gravée de chaque côté de la lettre F

Condition

Usual dents and scratches, the foot is slightly bent creating a small separation from the base, otherwise nice pattern. Very good weight, large size.

Les armoiries sont celles de la famille Alvarez de Toledo, probablement pour Francisco de Borja Alvarezde Toledo y Gonzaga, duc de Medina-Sidonia, marquis de Villafranca del Bierzo, marquis de Cazaza, duc de Bivona, marquis de los Velez, (Madrid 1763, Madrid 1821). Il épouse à Madrid le 29 janvier 1798 Tomasa Josefa de Palafox (1780-1835), une des égéries de Goya.
