Catalogue Note

Louis Bottée, graveur de médaille réputé, a commencé à travailler chez Paulin Tasset en 1869. En 1878, il reçoit le grand prix de Rome. Une de ses médailles figure à l'Exposition Universelle de 1889.
Henri Vever est un des joailliers les plus réputés de Paris à la fin du XIXe siècle. Il est l'auteur d'une monumentale, et encore aujourd'hui incontournable, Histoire de la Bijouterie française au XIXe siècle.
