Catalogue Note

Les armes sont celles des princes Odescalchi, de Rome, qui ont compté pami les leurs un pape, Innocent XI, déclaré bienheureux. Ce miroir a probablement été commandé par Balthazar, prince Odescalchi (1844-1909), prince du Saint Empire romain Germanique, duc de Syrmie, de Bracciano, marquis de Roncofredo, comte de Montiano, grand d'Espagne de 1ère classe, chambellan de la Cour de Vienne en 1890. Il fut un personnage-clé de l'unité italienne. Il épousa en 1881 la comtesse Emilia Rucellai (1857-1940) dont  il eut quatre enfants.
