Condition

The illustration is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable minor scratches and marks throughout due to age and use. The marquetry has been slightly restored as expected. The ebony veneer of the top is slightly flaking. The ebonised wood veneer of the back is later. The silver gilding of the mounts is later too. Very nice pewter and ebony marquetry.
