The graduating scrollwork flourishes set with numerous single, rose and old mine-cut diamonds weighing approximately 4.70 carats, accented by 14 button-shaped pearls measuring approximately 6.4 to 4.1 mm; together with a tiara fitting, the sides of the design are detachable for variety of wear; late 19th century. With fitted box stamped Carrington & Co. Jewellers.

Condition

In fair to good condition commensurate with age; the silver is heavily tarnished. The pearls are silvery white and range in shape from round to button shaped. The have very soft rose overtones and fair to good luster. The diamonds are approximately K-M color, SI clarity. The necklace can be attached to the tiara frame with provided screws and the end of the tiara frame has a black elastic cord to keep the tiara in place. Please note the pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
