The multi-strand pearl necklace composed of variously-shaped pearls ranging from approximately 3.6 to 2.1 mm, spaced by oval and square emerald-cut spinels, flanked by modified pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 2.50 carats, accented by old mine and rose-cut diamonds, length 15¾ inches; the multi-strand pearl bracelet composed of variously-shaped pearls ranging from 2.8 to 2.3 mm, spaced by two emerald-cut spinels, flanked by modified pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately .75 carat, accented by old mine and rose-cut diamonds, length 6 7/8 inches, two diamonds missing.
Condition
In good condition. NECKLACE: Minor wear to the silver-topped yellow gold setting is visible with light scratches and abrasions consistent with age. The eye-clean spinel display a dark purplish red hue. All spinels have sustained abrading to facet junctions as well as abrasions to the table. Diamonds are approximately J-K color, and predominantly SI clarity. The off-round pearls have an ivory body color, some with wrinkled skins near the drill holes. BRACELET: Minor wear to the silver topped yellow gold setting is visible with light scratches and abrasions consistent with age. The eye-clean spinel display a dark brownish purplish red hue. Both spinels have sustained abrading to facet junctions as well as abrasions to the table. Diamonds are approximately J-K color, and predominantly SI clarity. The off-round pearls have an ivory body color, some with wrinkled skins near the drill holes and with waxy to good luster. Clasp is most likely not original.
