Composed of numerous emerald beads measuring approximately 14.0 to 4.0 mm, spaced at intervals by fluted gold beads, suspending two cabochon emerald drops measuring approximately 16.0 by 14.5 mm and 15.8 by 14.8 mm, the tops set with round diamonds weighing approximately .20 carat, length 35 inches.
Condition
In good condition. The emerald beads and drops range from medium green to medium-deep slightly bluish green, and the clarity ranges from moderately to very heavily included with examples of surface-reaching inclusions, chips and cavities. The drops measure approximately 14.4 x 18.8 x 14.5 mm and 14.8 x 18.6 x 14.2 mm, with a total weight of approximately 40.00 carats. The diamonds are near-colorless and decorative in quality. Length of necklace approximately 35 inches. Tests as 14-karat gold.
