Condition
Overall in very good original condition. When viewed first hand these are intricate modern sculptures with a nice presence. The metal elements appear to have minor rubbing, surface discolorations, light oxidation and surface scratches consistent with the age and gentle use of the works. As seen in the catalogue illustration, there are some light surface scratches to the backplate consistent with gentle use. The front edge of the lighting element with a possibly area of minor and sensitive re-patination. The electrical elements all appear intact and function. The hardware fastening the backplate and frame appears original and undisturbed. This lot is not being sold with hardware to fasten the work to the wall. A wonderful minimalist modern sculpture by Chareau.
