Condition

Overall in good condition. The surfaces with some surface scratches, edge abrasions and surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. The wooden surfaces have been sensitively refinished and present with minor flaking to the varnish and light craquelure throughout. The upper and lower edges of the table top and the lower portions of the feet with concentrated abrasions. The seams of construction are visible throughout with scattered infill in some areas. The top appears to be composed of four planks which are slightly curved as a result of shrinkage of the wood, with associated visible seams. A minor irregularity in the varnish with a light discoloration on the top above the proper left side drawer, measuring approximately 2 x 1 in. A spectacular piece displaying beautiful details, superb craftsmanship and a lively silhouette when viewed in person. -----
