Condition

Overall in very good condition. The chair when viewed firsthand with greater saturation and nuance to the coloration than what appears in the catalogue illustration. The wood surfaces with minor edge abrasions, nicks and surface scratches consistent with age. The seams of the chair to the front and back appear with infill, likely original, as seen in the catalogue illustration. This infill with losses and cracks that are likely consistent with age. There is a stable age crack with evidence of possible prior restoration that begins at the center of the unshaped cutout to the backrest that extends to the joint of the leg to the reverse of the chair. A wonderful highly sculptural chair.----
