Condition

Overall excellent original condition. Please note the measurements of this piece as it is a small scale example of a motif that Bertoia explored through his career. The sunburst is comprised of beautifully patinated brass elements, which vary slightly in length which is inherent in the design. This is wonderful complex and dynamic form, which is heightened by the rich patina of the surfaces. The patina with minor rubbing and scattered surface dirt consistent with age and gentle handling. The piece is dynamic in person and one of the best examples of the motif offered in these rooms.
