Condition
Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the wood displays in a slightly more subdued brown hue. The wood surfaces with minor surface scratches, a few minor edge abrasions and light surface dirt to the recessed areas. The mica top displays a wonderfully luminous surface with iridized nuances and beautiful geometric details. Due to the inherent delicacy of the material, the mica presents with a few irregularities and a few unstable elements that are protected by the glass top. The glass top is later and the table could originally have had a glass top. The glass with minor surface scratches and light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The beautifully proportioned, angular work by Jean-Michel Frank is distinguished by its exceedingly rare mica top and great provenance. -----
