Description

  • JADEITE
of rectangular section, supported on a pedestal foot, the body and neck carved overall in relief with six chilong, the well-fitted cover with four small lingzhi-shaped loop handles suspending loose rings, alternating with four low-relief lingzhi blooms, surmounted by a compressed spherical knop, the stone of a translucent watery-green colour transmuting to a lighter tone towards the base

Condition

The vase and cover are both in overall good condition. The finial of the cover has been stabilised. The catalogue illustration is warmer than the actual colour of the jade.
