carved in the round as a standing boy dressed in loose robes with his right hand raised, the stone of an even celadon-white colour, wood stand

Sotheby's Hong Kong, 28th April 1993, lot 618.

Condition

The figure is in overall good condition with just insignificant nicks to the extremities as expected, including the edges of his clothes. There is also a small nick to the right thumb of the figure. The actual colour of the jade is warmer than the catalogue illustration.
