  • Gilt- lacquered bronze
  • Height: 15 3/4 inches
cast standing upright with bare upper body and feet, adorned with jewelry and fluttering scarves and sashes, the left hand in tarjanamudra, the large head with ferocious countenance and third eye, crowned by an elaborate openwork foliate tiara 

Condition

The figure is screwed to a replacement base. There are losses to the gilt-lacquer, two indentations behind the shoulders, and a repair to the tip of the index finger on the left hand. The attribute the right hand is resting on is missing, and there is age appropriate wear to the bronze surface.
