the globular body supported on a short splayed foot, the short slightly everted neck flanked by two small loop handles, the body splashed on both sides with a large area of rich purple on the pale milky-blue glaze, stopping short of the unglazed foot

Condition

The jar has a small restored chip to the rim with a long associated hairline crack. There are several burst glaze bubbles and the surface has expected wear.
