the deep rounded sides rising from a short spreading foot, covered overall in a thick pale blue glaze, transmuting to a single bold crimson splash on the interior, the rich purple glaze covering two thirds of the exterior, thinning to a buff tone at the rim and stopping short of the foot to reveal the dark brown body

Condition

The bowl with two restored chips to the rim; one approximately 2.5 cm and the other approximately 1.5 cm. There is an approximate 3 cm hairline crack from the rim. There is a scratch to the interior well approximately half way around. The rim is slightly warped. The surface with expected pitting and wear.
