Description

with shallow rounded sides rising short straight foot to lipped rim bordered by a thin concave grove, covered overall with a lustrous black glaze suffused with russet-brown 'hare's fur' steaks extending down from the rim, the exterior similarly glazed terminating irregularly in thick drops above the foot revealing the purplish-brown stoneware body

Condition

There is an approximately 1 cm polished glaze irregularity to the exterior. There is an original body scratch just above the foot, measuring approximately 2.8 cm long. The interior with a minute spot of imperfection to the glaze. Otherwise, the bowl is in overall good condition with some expected minor firing imperfections.
