Condition
Overall in very good condition. The wooden surfaces throughout with a later sensitively applied finish. The wood surfaces present with minor surface scratches, minor edge abrasions and minor discoloration consistent with age and gentle use. The joints with a few areas of sensitively undertaken restorations. The leather top has been sensitively replaced with a material consistent with the original desk. The leather with a few very light surface scratches. The chair is in very good condition. The wooden surfaces with a later finish that is identical to the desk. The cane on the chair is later and executed in a manner, pattern, and material of the original design. A wonderful architectonic form desk that is further complemented by the chair included in this offering.
