seated astride a striding dragon, both hands in karanamudra, wearing a skirt, with finely chased borders, fluttering scarf and jewelry, the face with ferocious expression, the open mouth showing teeth and tongue, framed by elongated earlobes and tiara fronting the red curled hair, wood stand (2)
Condition
There is a loss to one of the dragon's whiskers, and losses to the inlay. There is dirt and wear to the gilding and pigments. The original stand is lost.

White Jambhala is a manifestation of Avalokiteshvara, born from the compassionate bodhisattva's right eye. He can remove the suffering of poverty and sickness, purify non-virtuous karma, remove karmic obstacles, and avert disaster.
