Description

  • Gilt-bronze
seated in vajraparyankasana on a double lotus throne adorned with raised pearls, with lidded eyes, raised urna and elongated earlobes lobes, the polychromed hair in tightly coiled curls and ushnisha with lotus bud finial, the hem of the upper robe cascading down the left shoulder and back, the lower robe wrapped high around the waist and pleated atop the throne platform

Condition

Wear and accretion overall. Traces of polychroming in the hair. Small traces of verdigris throughout. With minor chipping to the back and lotus base reverse.
