The print is in generally excellent condition. The print is flush mounted on mat board. There are a few minor surface imperfections and retouching marks scattered throughout the image visible in raking light only. There is a vertical cropping mark visible in the lower left corner of the print that does not intrude on the image. There are a few smudges and scuffs in the margins of the print. There are notations written in pencil on the bottom of the mount. There is hinging residue at the top of the mount. The corners of the mount have been bumped. There is minor soiling on the reverse of the mount. A studio label, printed with the sitter's name, is affixed to the reverse. The collection stamp reads 'PRINTED UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF FRANCESCO SCAVULLO FROM THE COLLECTION OF SEAN BYRNES' on the reverse.
