- Yellow gold and silver
Comprising: a pair of earrings of serpent design, set with rose diamonds, the eyes set with circular-cut rubies, collapsible post and hinged back fittings, maker's mark; and a necklace of similar design, the articulated body set with cabochon emeralds, the head applied with rose diamonds and a pear-shaped emerald, with similarly-cut ruby eyes, length approximately 460mm.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Earrings: stamped 925 and 18K for silver and gold. Maker's mark for Lotus Art de Vivre. Rose diamonds lively. Rubies medium purplish red. Tongues articulated. Both pairs of clip fittings strong.In good condition.
Necklace: Well articulated. Emeralds medium green, with typical inclusions visible ton naked eye. Rose diamonds bright and lively. Rubies medium purplish red. In good condition.
