The oval shaped slide containing a lock of hair applied with Eros forging arrows, beneath a facetted rock crystal cover, loop attachments deficient, later brooch pin to reverse, the ring set with a lock of hair applied with an entwined monogram beneath a facetted rock crystal cover, to a foliate chased black and white enamel mount, size I.

Condition

Slide mounted in gold, loop attachments later removed, later brooch pin to reverse. Inscription encircling Eros discoloured and no longer legible. Minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear. Ring mounted in gold, extensive losses and wear to enamel and minor abrasions commensurate with age and wear.
