Description

  • Porcelain
each with curved sides rising from a short foot to a straight rim, the interior painted with a central framed ji (blessing) character, with further ji characters alternating with radiating ruyi and peach, the exterior with leafy peach and ruyi scrolls, the base with mark in underglaze-blue

Condition

The cobalt blue on the two dishes are slightly inconsistent. Both dishes are in very good condition, the dish with a richer blue has a grit to one of the ruyi strapwork and two iron-spots on the well. Both dishes with minor glaze firing imperfections.
