Small 4to (8 x 5 3/4 in.; 203 x 141 mm, uncut).  Printed in Golden type in black and red, first page of text with full woodcut border, numerous woodcut initials, printer's device at end of table of contents and at end.  Original stiff vellum with yapp edges, spine gilt-lettered, green silk ties; minor soiling on upper cover, one tie defective.  Half blue morocco gilt clamshell case.
