Catalogue Note
First edition. One of 100 copies printed, but few survive. A Great Lewis Carroll rarity. This copy with two interesting annotations, most likely in Dodgson's hand, on p. 3: the man "passing rich with forty pounds a year" is identified as "Jowett"; and for "some method to evaluate his pie" the annotation reads "See Mr.[?] Dodgson's 'Evaluation of pi.'"
