Catalogue Note

first editions of these rare pamphlets.  Coleridge used the texts from his lectures given in the winter of 1794 and spring of 1795 for these works. Conciones uses the famine of 1794 to argue for political change and the Plot Discovered addresses the despotism of the Gagging Acts.
