Catalogue Note

a fine first edition of rand's influential novel, the fictional introduction to her individual versus collectivist ideals, with her character Roark overcoming obstacles to demonstrate "man's ego is the fountainhead of human progress." An unusually difficult work to find in an acceptable jacket.
