Limited edition, one of 1040 copies, extra-illustrated with a document signed by Lincoln ("Abraham Lincoln"), Washington, 30 December 1863, being an order to affix the seal of the United States to a warrant for the pardon of John Asbury (soiled, crease, a few fold separations), as well as by a few additional engraved portraits and by letters signed by William Cullen Bryant, E. C. Stedman, Schurz, DeWitt Clinton, John C. Frémont, William H. Seward, Salmon P. Chase, and William Tecumseh Sherman.
