Catalogue Note
This work was published in three parts over a number of years, beginning in 1852, and much of the text concerns fossil bones from Eschscholtz Bay. It appears to be rare at auction. This copy is uniformly bound with The Botany of the Voyage of H.M.S. Herald (lot 711).
