All cartoonists for Punch, several of these illustrations were published, namely Du Maurier's "A Vocation" (23 Feburary 1878, p.83), Sambourne's design for the 1900 Almanack (5 December 1899), Stampa's "The Amateur Detectives" (1 August 1917, p.81) and Thomas' "New Minister" (28 January 1920, p.65).
