The jar is in very good overall condition with typical wear from age and use, this includes some wear to the rim as evidenced in the catalogue and online images. The surface shows nice patina, again with evidence of wear including minor surface abrasion and light soiling. There does not appear to be any restoration; jar is structurally sound.
