Description

  • 8cm., 3 1/8 in. and 18cm., 7 1/8 i.n
rectangular, the larger metal and black enamel compact applied with diamonds, the smaller example, silver and black enamel, with importer's marks of H.C. Freeman Ltd., London, 1936, in grey case, retailed by Michael Gosschalk

Condition

The larger of the two examples is badly damaged with the lacquer and metal both corroded. The ends of the smaller example are profusely crazed. Both in generally poor condition.
